“Stun Cane” Seized At Airport by Hawaii TSA

By Jenn

Now, we all know that walking canes can be used as a self-defense tool. After all, what mugger or potential criminal would not be deterred by a heavy stick swinging towards them?

One person, however, took this idea to a whole other level.

A short while ago, the TSA at the Kahului Airport in Maui, was inspecting a walking cane. It appeared to be just like any other mobility device until you took a closer look.

This closer examination revealed some surprising results. The bottom part of the cane had been designed to deliver an incredible shock to unsuspecting individuals. According to the TSA’s reports, the cane was capable of producing up to 1,000,000 volts!

This all the more shocking considering that the typical police-issued taser gun is capable of producing just 50,000 volts!

The TSA confiscated the cane from the individual.

According to them, the cane can be classified as being a “stun device”. Therefore, it cannot be taken on board in carry-on luggage. It is officially seen as a self-defense device.

This just goes to show that you really can turn your walking cane into anything that you want.

It just requires a little bit of imagination and some determination.
